Flat roof conversion. When this extension was constructed the angle of the pitch is too low for a tiled roof covering. The wind impedes flow of rain water down the roof blowing it under the tiles. The same thing happens to the rain water on the under felt below and it gets in through the laps on the under felt due to lack of flow. The nails used to fix the tiles are also too long and they pierced the under felt everywhere. To remedy these problems we are converting the roof with a one piece EPDM rubber membrane
