Stripping off the ridge tiles, concrete roof tiles and lath battens
Repairs to the perished bitumen under felt using vapour permeable breathable membrane pitched roof underlay on concrete tiled roof
When this extension was built the angle of the pitch was far too low for this type of construction and should have been of a flat roof type. We have taken off the stone tiles, lath battens & under felt to install new insulation, 18mm Sterling OSB roof board, Classic Bond EPDM rubber cap sheet & white UPVC trim.
Strip & re-cover of pitched tiled roof using new vapour permeable breathable membrane pitched roof underlay, eaves felt support trays, tanalised lath battens, Double Roman roof tiles, UPVC dry verge covers system, concrete half round ridge tiles secured using dry ridge fixing system, UPVC fascias, guttering, unions, brackets and outlets
Strip & re-cover of concrete tiled roof using new eaves felt support trays, vapour permeable breathable membrane pitched roof underlay, tanalised lath battens, Double Roman roof tiles, UPVC dry verge covers system, concrete half round ridge tiles mechanically secured using dry ridge fixing system and removal of the concrete gutters to install new white UPVC fascias/soffits and black Ogee guttering
Installation of new Classic Bond EPDM rubber cap sheet, plastisol coated steel flashings & repairs to the perished bitumen under felt using vapour permeable breathable membrane pitched roof underlay.
Preparing, priming & sealing the flat roof area & upstands around the redundant skylight using polyurethane
Installation of new EPDM rubber cap sheet on the sawdust hopper and removal of redundant flues
